Addressing pre-kindergarten and kindergarten National Content Standards in mathematics, this activity encourages counting, patterning, identification, and measurement.
This activity includes additional resources and activities to promote academic learning and communication. Included on the resource CD are math manipulatives and worksheets. Many of the communication overlays were created to be interactive by placing manipulatives directly on the overlays to show mathematical equations to using the “virtual” ruler to exclaim the measurement of a desired object.
Fun with Math is part of the “Fun With” series of academic communication activities. Each “Fun With” communication activity comes complete with interactive communication overlays and a resource CD full of activities and worksheets which all correlate to National Content Standards for Pre Kindergarten and Kindergarten. Additional Fun With titles include: Fun with Science, Fun with Social Studies, Fun with Reading, and Fun with Reading II.
